Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. This energetic role combines exceptional customer service with efficient hotel operations, ensuring each guest’s stay is memorable and seamless. You will handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm, contributing to a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Manage guest check-outs efficiently while addressing any billing inquiries or issues promptly.
• Handle all guest requests and inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications through hotel management software.
• Assist with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy and operational integrity during overnight shifts.
• Enforce hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times, responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive guest relations.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA and property management systems (PMS).
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication.
• Familiarity with hotel management procedures, including night audit processes and hotel emergency protocols.
• Exceptional phone communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Experience working in resort settings or with hotel experience preferred for a comprehensive understanding of guest needs.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
