We're looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Manager with at least 1 year of prior IHG front desk management experience to join our team at the EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown, an IHG property. In this role, you'll ensure every guest has an exceptional stay with us — leading operations at the front desk, acting as the first point of contact for guests, and cultivating a team that consistently goes above and beyond our high customer satisfaction standards. Compensation:

$40,000 - $50,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of front desk agents and night auditors
• Set the tone for a wellness-focused, guest-first arrival and departure experience true to the EVEN Hotel brand Standards
• Own front office guest satisfaction scores and personally resolve escalated guest concerns
• Manage daily arrivals, departures, room inventory, and rate integrity in IHG's PMS
• Train staff on IHG brand standards, upselling, and IHG One Rewards enrollment
• Partner closely with housekeeping and maintenance to keep the guest experience seamless
• Oversee cash handling, shift audits, and daily department reporting
• Jump in on the desk personally during peak periods or staffing gaps

Qualifications:

• Over 2 years of experience in office management in the hospitality industry as a front desk supervisor or similar position

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required (GED)

• Possess excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills

• 1 year of previous experience working in the hospitality industry

• Proficient bookkeeping skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, strongly desired

• 1+ year of front desk management or supervisory experience in the hotel industry

• Familiarity with a hotel PMS (IHG systems, Opera, or similar)

• A natural leader who thrives on developing people and solving problems on the fly

• Excellent communication skills and a calm, guest-first demeanor under pressure

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and creating memorable guest stays
