Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
• Manage hotel budgets, including revenue management, expense control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
• Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
• Monitor hotel property conditions, safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Conduct regular financial operations reviews, including budgeting, forecasting, and night audit procedures to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Develop strategies for revenue growth through marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and enhancing guest services.
• Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels through managerial communication skills while ensuring clear phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervisory responsibilities; previous experience as a Hotel General Manager is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively across multiple departments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems.
• Solid understanding of financial management principles including budgeting, revenue management, and cost control.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse guests and team members.
• Exceptional managerial communication skills to coordinate teams and liaise with stakeholders confidently.
• Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Experience overseeing night audit processes and managing hospitality operations budgets is desirable.
