Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining the financial health of the property. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management practices to drive success and uphold our service standards.

Duties

• Lead and manage all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee team management by recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating staff to deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain effective financial management through budget planning, expense control, and revenue optimization.
• Log bookkeeping activities accurately and ensure proper financial record-keeping.
• Manage cash flow and monitor money runs to ensure financial integrity across all hotel functions.
• Develop strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies.
• Handle guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with ownership or senior management on strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in operational tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff and guests.
