Hotel General Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on guest services, revenue management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure exceptional guest experiences while effectively managing staff and resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in service and accommodations.
• Manage budgeting and financial performance, including revenue management and cost control measures.
• Lead, train, and supervise hotel staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Handle guest relations issues promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships with guests.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety standards and cleanliness.
• Coordinate night audits and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
• Utilize multi-line phone systems effectively while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and retain qualified staff members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, revenue management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with front desk operations and night audit procedures is preferred.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest communication.
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems is essential for effective communication within the hotel.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing hotel operations.
