Hotel General Manager

Position Overview

Rimrock Hospitality is seeking a highly driven and hands-on General Manager to lead the successful pre-opening, launch, and stabilization of a new Everhome Suites Jacksonville East 295. This role requires a strategic operator with deep extended-stay expertise who can build a hotel from the ground up—assembling a high-performing team, driving revenue through local market penetration, and delivering strong financial results.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and understands how to balance rate integrity, length of stay (ALOS), and operational efficiency to maximize GOP.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Leadership

• Lead all pre-opening activities including hiring, onboarding, and training
• Execute Choice Hotels brand requirements and systems setup
• Develop a 90-day ramp-up strategy focused on occupancy and ADR
• Establish local sales presence targeting airport, logistics, and corporate demand

Revenue & Sales Strategy

• Drive extended-stay business and ALOS growth
• Balance OTA exposure with direct sales
• Lead corporate partnerships and LNR negotiations
• Manage STR comp set positioning and market share

Operations & Financial Performance

• Deliver financial results aligned with ownership expectations
• Manage labor, cost controls, and departmental productivity
• Oversee daily hotel operations
• Ensure compliance with brand and safety standards

Team Leadership & Culture

• Build a high-performance culture
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff
• Set clear KPIs and expectations
• Lead as a hands-on operator

Qualifications

• 3+ years General Manager experience in extended stay
• Choice Hotels experience preferred
• New hotel opening experience strongly preferred
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Reliable transportation with clean driving record

Compensation

• Compensation is based on experience, with a salary range of $76,000 to $95,000, plus bonus potential.
• Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision insurance after 90 days
• Simple IRA offered after 90 days

Pay: $76,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
