Hotel General Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise hospitality teams across departments including front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance.
• Manage hospitality management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation platforms to optimize guest bookings and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, pricing, and budgeting to maximize profitability while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, health & safety regulations, and local laws.
• Handle guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial operations including managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial reports to meet business goals.
• Coordinate human resources activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication within teams through managerial communication skills and multi-line phone system etiquette.
• Monitor hotel property conditions regularly to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and property maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems (PMS), revenue management strategies, and property management software.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively across multiple departments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
• Demonstrated financial acumen in managing budgets, controlling costs, and executing financial operations within a hospitality setting.
• Experience in human resources practices including staffing, training, and team development.
• Familiarity with hotel guest service standards, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and hospitality reservation systems.
• Strong managerial communication skills capable of motivating staff and communicating expectations clearly.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
