Hotel General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Hotel General Manager to lead our hotel. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel management, including guest services, team leadership, financial performance, marketing, and property maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to managing hotel staff, budgets, and revenue management strategies. It also requires on call availability to respond to any issue or emergency that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and supervision and direction to all hotel departments
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience that aligns with all brand standards
• Hire, train, and mentor department heads and staff
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
• Oversee sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or senior operations roles
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of HotelKey hospitality software system and other IHG Applications is preferred but not mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles and budgeting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• A passion for providing exceptional guest service in a resort or hotel setting.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a focus on operational excellence.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
