Hotel General Manager

The beautiful Staybridge Suites – Clermont, FL is seeking an energetic, customer-focused and sales-oriented General Manager to lead the award-winning team. The position is responsible for all aspects of the daily hotel operation and sales effort. We are seeking a manager who is dedicated to developing & training the staff to guarantee the highest level of guest satisfaction and property performance.

This high-volume, limited-service hotel has 100 guest rooms and is located minutes from the Disney theme parks and all that Orlando/Kissimmee/Clermont has to offer! We are looking for a dynamic, service-driven leader with a passion for the hospitality industry with previous Staybridge Suites, extended stay brands, or other IHG Brand experience.

We are managed by Waterview Hospitality LLC which is based in St. Petersburg, FL. We expect all employees to do whatever it takes to get the job done the right way for our guests and our employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manages all aspects of the hotel.
• Facilitates the preparation of budgets and forecasts for submission.
• Directs hotel actions required to maximize profitability, increase service levels and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the Sales and Marketing activity and results.
• Consistently meets and/or exceeds all sales activity and revenue goals.
• Negotiates and closes contracts.
• Speaks with and responds to guests regarding service challenges.
• Maintains good relationships with existing clients.
• Explores new ways to increase revenue.
• Conducts ongoing facility inspections throughout the hotel to assure that cleanliness, safety, and other standards are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Enhances the hotel's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job Requirements:

• Possess experience in the hotel industry at a Staybridge Suites or IHG Brand hotel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including mastery of developing and maintaining client relations and networking to successfully drive existing and new business.
• Interpersonal skills and a commitment to internal customer service standards required.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel, OPERA PMS, Perform, Quore, Concerto and Merlin.

BA/BS Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field from an accredited university or college preferred.

Pay: $63,400.00 - $76,500.00 per year
