Hotel General Manager – DoubleTree by Hilton Baton Rouge

DoubleTree by Hilton Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the hotel’s daily operations and build a strong, service-focused team. The General Manager will be responsible for guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, brand standards, and the overall success of the property.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily hotel operations and support department leaders.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Create a welcoming experience for guests and respond promptly to concerns.
• Monitor occupancy, revenue, labor, expenses, and overall financial results.
• Work with sales and revenue teams to grow business and meet hotel goals.
• Maintain Hilton brand standards, safety practices, and required inspections.
• Review operating reports and use results to set priorities and improve performance.
• Build a positive workplace where employees are accountable and supported.

What we’re looking for

• Hotel leadership experience, including experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Department Director.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets, labor, and guest service standards.
• The ability to lead a diverse team and address performance issues fairly.
• Flexibility to work the schedule required to support hotel operations, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Hilton brand or hotel systems experience preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
