Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures for chemical agents and cleaning supplies
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards across all hotel areas
• Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to ensure optimal sanitation levels
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while following safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including floor care and maintenance
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely and effectively while complying with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
• Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and janitorial procedures
• Capable of heavy lifting, manual handling, and performing physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
