Hotel Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing high-quality cleaning services, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence in hospitality. Prior experience in hotel, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment
• Ensure all public areas, hallways, and lobbies are kept tidy and presentable
• Handle laundry duties for linens, towels, and guest clothing as needed
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
• Experience with industrial cleaning or janitorial equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is advantageous
