Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing waste disposal.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and efficiently while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and hotel safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures during incidents or safety concerns to protect guests and staff effectively.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen supplies or cleaning equipment while practicing manual handling best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, janitorial tasks, or related hospitality roles.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly with understanding of chemical handling procedures and safety precautions.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation standards and cleanliness.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards.
• Ability to follow hotel emergency procedures confidently and understand safety data sheets (SDS).
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that enhances guest experience.
