Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and janitorial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols.
• Assist in the cleaning of public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a pristine environment for guests.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring safety and security for both guests and staff.
• Lift heavy cleaning supplies or equipment safely during manual handling tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Expertise in floor cleaning techniques and floor care maintenance to preserve the quality of various flooring types.
• Proficiency in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently and safely.
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe use of cleaning agents.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members alike.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and hospitality standards to support a secure environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $27.62 per hour
