Hotel Housekeeper

Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Care for floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to keep them spotless and safe for guests and staff.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
• Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for swift resolution.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment.
• Background in hospitality or custodial services that emphasizes customer service and attention to detail.
• Experience managing housekeeping tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
