Job Summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gateway Florida City is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while providing excellent guest service and following hotel cleanliness and safety standards.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and established procedures.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and remove trash.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damages, and maintenance issues.
• Report maintenance concerns, lost and found items, and safety hazards to management.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas.
• Follow proper procedures for cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and protect guest privacy.
• Complete assigned rooms within the expected time while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and management instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet daily productivity expectations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and follow the hotel's dress code.
