We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring safe storage and disposal.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently to uphold high standards of floor care and sanitation.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel emergency procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling and industrial cleaning practices to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong background in industrial cleaning techniques.
• Skilled in floor cleaning methods including floor care, vacuuming, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
• Knowledgeable about chemical agent handling, sanitation standards, and safety data sheets (SDS) for safe chemical use.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or furniture.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management procedures and custodial best practices.
• Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures to respond effectively during unforeseen incidents.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
