Hotel Houseman

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to support the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel environment. The ideal candidate will assist with guest room cleaning, general housekeeping duties, and light landscape work to ensure a welcoming and well-maintained atmosphere for our guests. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to perform light outdoor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to uphold hotel standards of cleanliness.
• Support housekeeping staff with tasks such as changing linens, replenishing supplies, and ensuring rooms are guest-ready.
• Perform light landscape work including basic gardening, lawn care, and outdoor upkeep to enhance the hotel’s exterior appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas, storage closets, and equipment storage spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Support other hotel staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform light landscape work or outdoor maintenance is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
