HOTEL INVESTMENT & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

MHG is looking for an entrepreneurial Hotel Investment & Development Manager based permanently in Crete to act as our local investment and development representative in GREECE.

This is not a Personal Assistant role and not a conventional real estate brokerage position.

Your mission is simple:

Find the deal. Understand the deal. Negotiate the deal. Coordinate the deal. Deliver the project.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Acquisition & Deal Sourcing: build a continuous pipeline of hotels, resorts, boutique hotels, aparthotels, conversion opportunities, distressed or underperforming assets and off-market opportunities across Crete and Halkidiki.

Owner & Local Network: develop direct relationships with hotel owners, local families, brokers, lawyers, notaries, architects, engineers, contractors, banks and local business communities.

Deal Evaluation: assess purchase price, revenue, ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, EBITDA, CapEx, development potential, planning considerations, exit value and potential return.

Negotiation & Transaction: understand seller motivation, participate directly in negotiations and explore acquisition, JV, seller financing, deferred payment, lease-to-own, management or strategic partnership structures.

Development Coordination: once a deal proceeds, coordinate lawyers, notaries, architects, civil engineers, authorities, contractors, designers, FF&E suppliers and hotel operators until implementation.

Owner Representative / Hotel Development professional

Must have strong local knowledge of Greece, preferably Crete; genuine local owner/business network; strong English; Greek highly preferred; ability to work independently and travel frequently.
