Hotel Laundry Attendant

Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean textiles.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding linens and garments.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
• Follow strict safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents according to safety standards in production.
• Monitor laundry processes for quality control, ensuring textiles are properly cleaned and cared for without damage.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and ensure proper storage of materials.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load sizes.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and garment care.
• Excellent customer service skills to support team members and guests when needed.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines confidently.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
