Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, and guest garments efficiently.
• Handle laundry materials with proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other equipment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by sanitizing workspaces and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while following manufacturer instructions to ensure effective textile cleaning.
• Monitor machine operations for proper functioning, troubleshoot issues promptly, and report maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials handling to ensure continuous workflow without delays.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, textile care, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
• Experience operating laundry services equipment such as garment care machines and industrial dryers.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling and heavy lifting procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring detergents and managing inventory levels accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills to support guest satisfaction through timely and quality laundry services.
• Familiarity with safety protocol adherence in a production setting to prevent accidents or injuries.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35.0 per week
