Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs to address structural or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain building interior spaces through painting, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance to uphold aesthetic standards.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting when applicable.
• Follow safety protocols and document all maintenance activities accurately for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and coordinate ongoing maintenance projects that enhance guest comfort and safety.

Skills

• Strong electrical experience with the ability to repair electrical equipment and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in plumbing system maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting plumbing issues efficiently.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for various maintenance tasks.
• Skilled in HVAC system repair, including diagnosing issues with heating, cooling, ventilation systems, and performing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Excellent carpentry skills for building interior repairs or modifications; residential painting expertise is a plus.
• Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance including elevators, fire alarm systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English; capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
• Leadership qualities to oversee maintenance projects or mentor junior staff when needed.
