Hotel Maintenance

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at the brand-new extended stay WoodSpring Suites. This role is essential to ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining various aspects of the hotel’s infrastructure, including facilities equipment, building interiors, and painting tasks. Additionally, this position supports the upkeep of public areas to provide our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct interior maintenance of the building, including fixing fixtures, doors, and other structural elements.
• Carry out painting projects within the hotel to maintain an attractive appearance and address wear and tear.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of public areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor the condition of hotel interiors and report any significant repairs or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Prior experience in facility or building maintenance is preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting skills is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Reliability and a proactive approach to maintenance duties are essential.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
