Hotel Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills, along with excellent customer service and supervisory experience. Responsibilities

• Run routine checks on swimming pools, hot tubs, emergency lights, fire alarms, and safety apparatuses
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Perform tasks such as fixing plumbing leaks, unclog drains, replace light bulbs, repair door locks, touch up paint, and patch drywall.
• Supervise contractors during specific projects or repairs when necessary
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards at all times
• Respond quickly and courteously to maintenance requests reported by guests or staff
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Upkeep exterior walkways, parking areas, and landscaping as needed

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments
• 1 to 3 years of general building repair, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry experience.
• Skilled in residential painting, basic plumbing and basic carpentry tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment (often up to 50–100 pounds).
