Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various hotel systems and equipment. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our amenities, including pool testing and maintenance, to provide guests with a safe and enjoyable environment. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building systems promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain the hotel's pool area by testing water quality regularly and performing necessary chemical adjustments to ensure safety and compliance with health standards.
• Address guest requests related to maintenance issues in a timely manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist in emergency repairs or situations requiring immediate attention to maintain hotel operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques is essential.
• Experience with pool testing, water chemistry management, and pool equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and task management.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
