Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, hand tools, and electrical equipment such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers.
• Perform welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and plumbing repairs to maintain the building interior and exterior.
• Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, repairing components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose complex issues related to electrical work, mechanical systems, or plumbing system maintenance.
• Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership skills while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance.
• Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, hand tools, electrical equipment repair devices (such as ohmmeters), and maintenance painting techniques.
• Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures within hospitality or commercial facilities.
• Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior staff or contractors when needed.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on maintaining a positive guest experience through prompt resolution of maintenance issues.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
