Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding tasks, and other mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Conduct residential painting, drywall repairs, carpentry work, and other general maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel’s appearance.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members or contractors when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and following proper procedures during repairs or installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
