Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable environment for our guests and staff while supporting the overall excellence of our property.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics and tools such as ohmmeters; address issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) when applicable.
• General Repair, residential painting, carpentry, and other handyman tasks to maintain the property's appearance and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Quore and manage maintenance logs.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or service calls related to facilities issues, providing excellent customer service throughout
• Responsible for light and heavy daily maintenance, scheduled preventative maintenance and Quore documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and electrical equipment repair is essential.
• Hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, and residential painting.
• Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical schematics and operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Supervising experience in a maintenance setting is preferred; leadership skills are highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to document work accurately and follow safety procedures diligently.
