Maintenance Engineer

Ideal candidate will have experience:

• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment.
• Responding and completing guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and circuit issues from distributions to service points.
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing supply, drain, sewer and storm drain systems.
• Completing daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Performing plumbing work orders: unplugging sinks, valves, replacing washer, gaskets, vacuum breakers, toilet seals.
• Performing well under pressure situations, time demands, and work overtime when needed.
• General maintenance including, light electrical, dry wall, painting, patching, wall paper repair, etc.

Qualifications**:**

• Minimum of two years high quality building maintenance experience in hospitality or similar fast-paced environment.
• Hospitality experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, management and colleagues.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift or carry supplies, equipment or tools weighting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and nights.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-orientated environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour
