Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems, ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, lighting, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, some mechanical components with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
• Coordinate facilities maintenance projects, including supervising contractors when necessary.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately within the property.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards set by OSHA .
• Lead efforts in manufacturing industrial-style maintenance tasks when applicable to hotel operations or renovations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests related to maintenance promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hotel engineering roles with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical experience, welding techniques, and residential painting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows effectively.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
• Strong mechanical knowledge handling power tools.
• Communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members and vendors.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
