Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Repair and troubleshoot various facilities equipment including HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical systems using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other handyman tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of the property.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical experience to diagnose complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, schematics, and reports for all repairs and inspections performed.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or renovations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and a customer service-oriented approach.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or residential environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, HVAC repair, welding, carpentry, and painting.
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Experience working with maintenance tools such as hand tools and specialized testing devices like ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or collaborate with team members on complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document work orders and interact with team members.
