Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical equipment, and plumbing fixtures with precision and care.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
• Lead small maintenance projects such as painting, drywall repairs, or installing new fixtures while adhering to safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and effective problem-solving.
• Follow safety protocols during all repair activities, including electrical work, plumbing repairs, or HVAC system servicing.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, schematics updates, and repair logs for compliance and future reference.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in building interior maintenance and facilities upkeep.
• Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding schematics.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and building climate control systems.
• Skilled in plumbing system maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting using appropriate tools like pipe wrenches and leak detectors.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with welding is a plus.
• Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques for commercial interiors.
• Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with guests or team members.
• Leadership qualities to oversee small projects or mentor junior maintenance staff when necessary.
• Fluency in English for effective communication across diverse teams.
