Hotel Maintenance Technician

Location: Spark by Hilton Lockport — Lockport, NY
Pay: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience
Work location: On-site

Spark by Hilton Lockport is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain our guest rooms, equipment, and facilities. This role will also be involved in the hotel’s Property Improvement Plan (PIP) and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections throughout the hotel.
• Diagnose and complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC equipment, furniture, and general building systems.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Support PIP and renovation projects, including room upgrades, repairs, installations, and coordination with contractors.
• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with Hilton brand standards.
• Identify and address health and safety concerns, follow safe work practices, and report hazards promptly.
• Record completed work and report issues that require outside service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience required.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience required.
• An engineering background or a relevant maintenance or technical certification.
• Experience with hotel PIP and renovation projects.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and contractors.
• Availability to work weekends when scheduled.

Pay: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience.
