Hotel Maintenance Technician

Microtel Inn Broken Bow is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Repair drywall, paint, flooring, doors, locks, furniture, and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain the pool, fitness center, parking lot, and exterior grounds.
• Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, air filters, batteries, and other building components.
• Assist with room renovations and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized engineering shop and storage areas.
• Assist housekeeping and front desk when maintenance-related support is needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors.
