Hotel Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for the overall management, sales and marketing programs and strategic business initiatives of two hotels.
• Establish SOPs and ensure staff compliance with SOPs on hotel operation, revenue management, sales and marketing, staff training as well as other business initiatives and commercial strategies.
• Identify business trends and marketing opportunities that can improve the performance of the hotel.
• Provide comprehensive hotel management training of front-line staff and early identification of repairs and maintenance issues, required refurbishment and renovation works and monitoring of day-to-day operations etc.
• Employ cost management techniques to optimize total operating expenses.
• Communicate and report on forecast, financial and business performance to senior management.
• Relationship building with guests and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, continued business and loyalty.
• Adhere to grooming and hygiene standards set by the hotel.
• Comply with all relevant Workplace Safety and Health practices and maintain a safe workplace for all colleagues.
• Ensure the hotel properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration
• At least 5 years of prior hotel management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Conversant with key hotel performance indicators, especially with finance, revenue and sales & marketing related metrics. Proven track record of building strategy around analytics.
• Ability to drive results and effectively manage stakeholders across various levels.
• Agile and proactive in instigating revenue growth through planned initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Well versed in both English and Chinese.
