Are you ready to be part of this mission?

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the overall management of a luxury hospitality property located on a tropical and paradisiacal island in São Tomé and Príncipe.

This senior leadership role requires a strong operational mindset, a passion for excellence in luxury service, and the ability to lead teams in a unique and inspiring environment.

The focus:

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations, ensuring the highest luxury standards across all departments
• Deliver exceptional, highly personalised guest experiences, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
• Manage budgets, control costs and monitor key financial and operational KPIs
• Lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism
• Ensure the property’s maintenance, presentation and brand image reflect its luxury positioning
• Handle complex guest situations and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests and stakeholders
• Collaborate on Sales & Marketing initiatives to strengthen the hotel’s positioning in the luxury market
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene and HACCP regulations
• Promote sustainable and responsible tourism practices aligned with the destination

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Management or a related field
• Proven senior management experience in premium hospitality environments
• Strong leadership, decision-making and people management capabilities
• Solid financial expertise, including budgeting and cost control
• Strong guest-oriented approach with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; additional languages are highly valued

What we offer:

• Salary range between €59,000 and €68,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and assessment (approximate gross annual amounts)
• Fully furnished accommodation, with water, electricity, and internet expenses included (if staying near the hotel, it’s possible to use of the laundry service)
• Company vehicle for professional use, allowing easy mobility whenever necessary. The vehicle may also be used for personal purposes, subject to coordination and availability confirmation with the fleet management team
• Entitlement to a total of 33 working days of annual leave for every 12 months worked
• Two or three annual return trips to your country of residence and possibility of a long weekend of R&R
• On-site medical and nursing assistance available throughout the year
• Individual worldwide health insurance coverage
