About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our hotel operations in Nusa Lembongan District, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to drive the strategic direction and day-to-day management of our property. As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, financial performance and team excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience and establishing Shape Haus as a premier destination in the region. This role reports directly to senior leadership and provides an ideal platform for a hospitality professional looking to make a meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and guest services
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise occupancy rates, revenue and profitability whilst maintaining service standards
• Manage the hotel budget, control expenditures and ensure financial targets are met
• Lead, recruit, train and motivate hotel staff to ensure high performance and exceptional guest service
• Handle guest relations, resolve complaints and ensure guest satisfaction and positive reviews
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, security and local regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers and local business partners
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to ensure the property remains competitive
• Implement quality assurance programmes and maintain operational standards across all departments
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the property and achieve occupancy goals

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering consistent financial results
• Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, revenue management and operational best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members
• Financial acumen including budget management, cost control and revenue optimisation
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities
• Knowledge of health, safety and hospitality industry regulations
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Experience in boutique or upscale hotel properties is preferred
• Certification in hotel management or hospitality is desirable
