Hotel Night Auditor/ Front Desk (Graveyard Shift)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor / Front Desk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily financial records, overseeing overnight front desk operations, and providing exceptional service to guests during nighttime hours. Your role is critical in maintaining smooth hotel operations and supporting the front desk team while upholding high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and accounting.
• Oversee front desk operations during the overnight shift, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally during nighttime hours.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and payments.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight guest needs or issues.
• Monitor security and safety protocols during night hours, reporting any irregularities or incidents.
• Prepare and submit daily audit reports to management.
• Utilize hotel management and accounting systems efficiently for night audit and front desk operations.
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.

Skills

• Strong understanding of night audit procedures and hotel financial systems.
• Experience in front desk or night auditor roles within hotel or resort environments.
• Excellent numerical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining professionalism.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a calm and patient attitude.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse guests.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
