Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
• Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to optimize booking efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee budgeting, financial management, and revenue management strategies to meet financial goals and maximize profitability.
• Coordinate with human resources for staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
• Handle guest relations proactively by resolving issues promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor hotel operations budgets, control expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation across departments.
• Conduct regular audits including night audits to verify financial accuracy and operational compliance.
• Maintain effective communication with staff through managerial channels, multi-line phone systems, and clear phone etiquette.

Skills

• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
• Proven experience in overseeing daily hotel operations with strong supervisory skills in hospitality management.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices, including revenue management, human resources, and financial operations.
• Proficiency with hospitality reservation systems, property management systems (PMS), and other relevant property management software.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on service excellence.
• Excellent managerial communication skills for team coordination, staff training, and guest interactions.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Experience in managing hospitality operations budgets with a focus on budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with front desk operations including multi-line phone systems, night audit procedures, and phone etiquette.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of hotel management.
