Hotel Receptionist

About the role

You will join the Front Office team at Garden City Hotel, BW Signature Collection and help deliver effortless guest experiences. This position is available on either a part-time or casual basis, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
• Maintain a clean and organised front desk area
• Assist with general administrative duties as required

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
• Must be available to work mixed day and evening shifts
• Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera)
