Hotel Receptionist

Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a full-time Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly, nurturing team.

Set in the heart of the forest, our 35-room hotel enjoys beautiful views across the heathland. We’re proud to offer a warm, welcoming experience for our guests—and we’re looking for someone who’ll help make every stay special.

About the role

Working five days out of seven, you’ll cover a mixture of early and late shifts. Early shifts start at 7:00 am, and late shifts start at approximately 2:30 pm. The role may also involve serving drinks and afternoon teas, so flexibility is important.

Your duties will include:

• Checking guests in and out and allocating rooms
• Carrying out room checks
• Communicating with all hotel departments
• Taking dinner and breakfast bookings
• Sharing your knowledge of the local area
• Helping serve drinks and afternoon teas when needed

About you

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role and be familiar with Rezlynx. Just as important, you’ll be reliable, a supportive team player, and have a bubbly, outgoing personality with a genuine enjoyment of guest interaction.

Due to our location and shift times, you’ll need your own transport.

If you enjoy creating a warm welcome and being part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.
