Hotel Receptionist

The Menlo Park hotel is looking for an experienced Hotel Reception receptionist to join our team.

Main Roles and responsibilities

• At least one years experience in hotel reception preferably in a 4 star hotel.
• Ideally to have an knowledge of Hotsoft 8 the hotel Property Management System or similar.
• To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience.
• To communicate products and services available at the hotel and act as a role model for first point of contact for guests.
• Be committed to providing the highest possible service and quality of standards to all guests whilst always remaining courteous and helpful in all aspects of their daily tasks.
• To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify management of these and complete any necessary paperwork.
• To have a good working knowledge of all front office financial procedures – accounts, No Shows, Cancellations, Sales Ledgers.
• To ensure communication between departments for guest satisfaction.
• To work closely with the Accommodation/Rooms Revenue Manager to ensure a consistency of communication and standards is maintained.
• Other Duties: to carry out any other reasonable duties as requested
• Must be able to work varying shifts including day, evening, weekends and bank holidays

-Must have excellent spoken and written English and be legally entitled to work in Ireland on a full time. We do not require the assistance of agencies and are not in a position to assist with work permits.
