Hotel Receptionist

About the role

Hotel Nelson is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team in our beautiful seaside location in Nelson Bay, NSW. This is a casual role. Must have 7-day availability. Shifts are a mix off 7am-3pm or 1pm to 8pm.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests with exceptional customer service
• Checking guests in and out efficiently and effectively
• Handling guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions
• Assisting with luggage handling and other guest services as required
• Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area
• Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (desirable)
