The Role

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys interacting with people, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional manner.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Resolve guest queries and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
• Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

About You

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Good computer skills and confidence using booking or property management systems.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
