You’re the person who notices the missing coffee pod. The smudge on the mirror. The pillow that’s just slightly off-center. That sharp eye is exactly what makes a great Rooms Inspector.

As our Rooms Inspector at Homewood Suites Richmond Airport, you’re the final checkpoint before every guest walks through the door. You make sure each room is spotless, fully stocked, and ready to impress, and you help your housekeeping team shine while you do it. When a guest walks in and says “Wow,” that’s you and your teams' hard work.

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas so everything is guest-ready
• Make sure every room has the right linens, supplies, and amenities, set up just right
• Support timely room turnover and update room status in the hotel system
• Spot maintenance issues and get them to the right team fast
• Give friendly, helpful feedback and coaching to room attendants
• Help train new housekeeping team members
• Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, inventory, and special projects
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest questions and concerns.

YOU’LL FIT RIGHT IN IF YOU...

• Have 1+ year of hotel housekeeping or room inspection experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others succeed.
• Are available for day shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Notice the little things and take pride in getting them right
• Can stay organized and balance priorities when the hotel is busy
• Communicate clearly and give feedback in a positive, encouraging way
• Can walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout your shift
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Speak English and Spanish? That’s a big plus.
