Hotel Security Guard

Job Overview:

We are seeking an alert, reliable, and professional Hotel Security Guard currently based in the UAE to join our team at Byblos Hospitality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property, while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused presence.

This role requires someone with good situational awareness, strong communication skills, and practical experience in maintaining floor safety and access control within a hotel or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access Control & Visitor Monitoring: Monitor property entry points, verify guest credentials when required, and ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter restricted areas.
• Property Patrols & Inspection: Conduct regular floor checks and perimeter patrols to deter incidents, check emergency exits, and ensure all security standards are met.
• Guest & Staff Safety: Maintain a visible, reassuring presence to assist guests with inquiries, handle mild disputes calmly, and support hotel management during operational needs.
• Incident Reporting & Response: Respond promptly to safety concerns, fire alarms, or facility issues, and accurately document details for daily security logs.

Requirements:

• SIRA Certification: Must possess a valid, active SIRA Security License/Card in the UAE.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of prior security experience (hospitality or hotel security experience is strongly preferred).
• Physical Fitness: Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended shifts.
• Communication Skills: Good command of spoken and written English to interact professionally with hotel guests and complete daily shift logs.
• Work Schedule: Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• UAE Residency & Availability: Must be currently located in the UAE with transferable visa status (Employment Visa, Visit Visa, or Cancelled Visa). Immediate joiners preferred.
