Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide attentive service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring precise processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities
• Manage cash handling duties accurately, process payments swiftly, and balance registers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Background in restaurant operations or the food industry is advantageous; nightclub or bar experience is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and cash handling tasks
