We have an exciting new vacancy for a Shift Leader to join our Front Office team at The Britannia International Hotel, one of the first hotels to be built in the iconic Canary Wharf. The International is a 601-bedroom, modern glass-fronted building close to the famous business district and just a short walk from nearby public transport links.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting the smooth running of the Front Office department during your shift
• Coordinating reception duties and supporting colleagues during busy periods
• Assisting with guest check-ins, check-outs and enquiries
• Supporting and guiding team members, including new colleagues
• Ensuring accurate payments, bookings and guest accounts
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and hotel presentation
• Handling guest complaints professionally and escalating issues when required
• Completing accurate shift handovers and communicating outstanding issues to the next team
• Following hotel procedures and ensuring service standards are consistently maintained

The successful candidate will have previous reception experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to support colleagues in a busy hotel environment. You will be organised, confident in coordinating shift activities and comfortable using hotel systems. Knowledge of property management systems and payment procedures would be advantageous.
