Hotel Shuttle Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and safety-focused Hotel Shuttle Driver to provide reliable transportation and exceptional service to our hotel guests.

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests between the hotel, airport, and other approved locations while providing a welcoming and professional guest experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safe driving practices, and the ability to assist guests with their transportation and luggage needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the hotel shuttle in accordance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Transport guests to and from the airport and other hotel-approved destinations in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Greet guests professionally and provide friendly, helpful service throughout their transportation experience.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and other belongings.
• Provide guests with general information regarding the hotel, transportation schedules, and local area when appropriate.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any safety, maintenance, or mechanical concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel shuttle, including the passenger and driver areas.
• Maintain required trip, mileage, fuel, and vehicle inspection records.
• Follow established shuttle routes, schedules, and approved transportation areas.
• Communicate professionally with the Front Desk and hotel leadership regarding guest transportation needs, delays, vehicle concerns, or other issues.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, or safety concerns to management.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to vehicle operation, guest service, and workplace safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on hotel business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous shuttle, transportation, delivery, or professional driving experience preferred.
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Safe driving record and demonstrated commitment to responsible vehicle operation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and follow established transportation procedures.
• Ability to safely assist guests with luggage and belongings.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with loading and unloading luggage.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Driver Screening & Eligibility Requirements

Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all required driver screening and authorization requirements.

• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required.
• Background check required.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company and insurance requirements.
• Must meet all applicable company and insurance eligibility requirements to operate a hotel vehicle.
• Employees are not permitted to operate a hotel vehicle until all required screenings have been completed and driving authorization has been approved.
• Continued employment in a driving position is subject to maintaining required driving eligibility.
