Hotel Shuttle Driver

Job Summary:

The Shuttle Driver transports guests between the hotel and other local destinations, in addition to

cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the property and grounds as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

● None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Transports guests to and from designated locations in a friendly and professional manner.

● Assists guests with their luggage.

● Ensures company vehicles are clean and in good working condition.

● Adhere to all traffic and corporate regulations.

● Ensures shuttle service is consistently timely and convenient for hotel guests.

● Provide information to guests about the local area and hotel amenities.

● Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services as needed

● Performs limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and hedges and

cleaning snow from sidewalks.

● Examines property for safety hazards, reports problems to Assistant General Manager or other

appropriate staff.

● Ensures that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

● Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

● Excellent interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, customers,

clients, and visitors to the property.

● Knowledge of the local area and attractions.

● Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.

● Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.

● Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:

● Experience as a professional driver or shuttle driver is preferred.

● CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

● High school diploma or equivalent required.

● Must pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods sitting and standing.

● Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
